Melissa Lischer, born in 1986 in Basel (CH), is a Swiss-Cameroonian actress, singer, songwriter, and model. From a young age, she was drawn to the performing arts, exploring theatre, singing, and music.

Between 2002 and 2010, she performed with the renowned Big Band Föhn in Lucerne and trained in dance with the Matchless Dancers as an animation and show dancer.

Since 2011, Melissa has been signed as a singer/songwriter with profimusic, releasing an album and several singles. She also started her model career early, took a break, and resumed it later alongside her acting work.

She completed her professional acting training at Drama Academy Switzerland in Olten (2023/2024). On screen, she appeared in Tschugger Season 3, the feature film Late Shift (2024), and the short films Eldur and Water Horn (2024). On stage, she played the lead in 1857 – Ein Herbst ohne Gnade in Volketswil ZH.

In 2025, Melissa is taking the stage as part of the Live on Stage musical production. Additionally, she completed a stunt workshop with Brian Pinkus at the Drama Academy Switzerland, Tactical Combat Training at the Sicherheitsinstitution Berlin, and a Voice-Over and Voice-Acting Workshop with Gabriela Leutwiler, while continuing her craft through coaching at Tischlers Studio in Zurich.

In 2026, she will appear in the High School Musical production and in the lead role of the two-person theatre production The Soul Algorithm.

Outside of her creative work, Melissa enjoys climbing, hiking, and surfing.
